Harvest Christ Church was first planted as house group in first two
years(1990〜1992) by the blessing encounter with the pastor, Kim Samuel,

who was the pastor of C&AM Shibuya Evangelical Church (the missionary of Alliance･co

In March, 1992 it was planted formally, with the first pastor (missionary) , Pastor Kim
Samuel served both as Shibuya Evangelical Church and this church.At first it was planted
as Gifu Alliance Christ Church and it had 12 members , several seekers and some children.
Afterward, Pastor Kim Samuel went abroad to evangelize, so several missionaries supported
to build up the church and in 1995 it became independent, and started as the independent
church .In those days the church rented one floor of the building in front of Shin Unuma
station, which was the third floor in the building, but it grew and the room became too
narrow. Therefore in December, 2002, we bought the land for the church along the National
Highway, Route 21, and the new church (it will be the house of education in the future) was
built in November, 2003. When the church moved, the name of the church changed into
Harvest Christ Church.
